You can also create a default template that is always used when a new chart is created. Once you create your template you can use it over and over.

MetaStock’s Layouts are a convenient way to manage groups of charts. You can combine your favorite stocks into one easily managed group. Or combine your favorite commodities, currency pairs, or securities and several of your favorite indicators. You can save all your on-screen charts together like pages in a book. So whenever you open your layout, the same securities are there every time!

You can even use the Change Security commands to scan all of the securities in a folder using a Layout as a template. Mac OS?

Officially MetaStock is not supported when installed onto a Mac computer. However, Equis has several clients using MetaStock on the new Macs with the Intel processor and they have reported that they've encountered minimal issues.

While Equis hasn't tested MetaStock on Macs, their discussions with customer using it indicate that for the most stable Mac environment, the Windows operating system must be running through a Mac application called Boot Camp.

Similar applications may not work properly (for example Parallels or Virtual Machine). MetaStock software installed on a Mac computer is eligible for the 30-Day Money Back Guarantee. All conditions and requirements apply to Mac users regardless of the timing or nature of potential Mac related issues.

MetaStock (Equis) reports that they will make every effort to provide support for running their software on a Mac and help customers troubleshoot issues they encounter; however as they have not officially tested MetaStock in this environment, they are unable to guarantee support beyond a reasonable effort.
