Real-Time MetaStock Format Data
MetaStock Professional comes in 2 flavors, MetaStock Pro for QuoteCenter and MetaStock Pro for eSignal - each works only with its specific real-time data feed provider. MetaStock Pro FX only works with QuoteCenter.

End-of-Day MetaStock Format Data
MetaStock End-of-Day can use any data service you select with the following catch: data must be provided in the proper format. The majority of MetaStock End-of-Day owners choose Reuters DataLink as their end-of-day data provider.
- Reuters DataLink
If you are looking for quality MetaStock Format end-of-day data with extensive coverage that is both clean and accurate, then Reuters DataLink is your answer! Provided by the same company that manufactures
MetaStock products (Equis International is a Reuters company), this data is
completely compatible with MetaStock End-of-Day.
- Other EOD Data Providers
When considering other EOD data providers for MetaStock End-of-Day, it is important to note that MetaStock End-of-Day can only read data in 'MetaStock Format'. However, The Downloader (which comes with both MetaStock End-of-Day and/or a subscription to Reuters DataLink) can convert data from the following data types into MetaStock Format, so as to be readable by the program:
- ASCII
- Excel (CSV)
- AIQ
- FutureLink
- Quattro-123
- TC2000
If you are not using Reuters DataLink, you may have to contact your data provider to ensure that your data can be provided in MetaStock Format or read by The Downloader and then converted to MetaStock Format. Check our FAQs
